Metal through flesh – a composite video sequence with the artist’s surgery session and glitches of disrupted video and sound signals. In the visualisation, the hard steel rod pierces and prods the inflamed soft tissue in the artist’s hand and wrist. The acquired endoscopic otherworldly videos inspired a VJ session to diffuse and suppress the pain, and hold back a memory of pain during the particular period.
